Publicity Report

Success of any educational Institute's Fest depends on how popular the event is among the students. Publicity of the event all over India was the main agenda of each committee member involved in SPANDAN. For this, students were sent to educational institutes of Indore, Ujjain, Mhow, Dewas and to the other major cities like Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur. In Indore, all the technical and professional institutes as well as other government colleges were covered. For national level publicity, online promotion was used.

Online Publicity had two major objectives-

Sending invites of the event to various institutes all over India

Promotion through various social networking sites

Around 5000 mails were sent to all technical institutes of M.P., all institutes of Indore and many technical institutes across India. Emails were sent using mail id This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . The social media was used as a major source of promotion for the event. Facebook and Instagram were the major sites used. Using Facebook, the event's news was posted in numerous groups regularly. Many of these group had more than 10000 members also (more than 50000 in some cases). Also posts regarding the event were regularly posted in facebook groups of various institutes all over India and especially in Indore. Then there was official Spandan Page which had all the posts related to event. Each committee member worked in the direction of spreading the facebook page to the masses. Also promotion was done using official instagram account which has more than 500 followers. Similarly, each student in the committee used his/her whatsapp groups for the promotion of the event where they were connected to various students of Indore as well as across India. The efforts were made by convener as well as online publicity committee to make the event success.

DJ RAY

a.   We designed, posted and shared multiple posters of DJ Ray & tagged her.

b.   Our objective started to get fulfilled when she shared our created design from her profile on the Noon of the Event.

c.   Her involvement grew as she shared the video live from the event on her facebook and twitter profiles.

d.   The success of event & its branding can be measured by the fact, that even after the completion of Event, DJ Ray kept sharing the pictures of the event night from her profile and as we tagged her, she’s tagging us in every post she shared, ultimately adding to the branding of SVVV.

Last but not the least, we are thankful to our Management, VC, Principal, Administrative officer, HODs, Faculty Members and Staff for their contribution and cooperation. Also special thanks to our sponsors: TCS, Bank of Maharashtra, Anuroop Graphics & printers, Coup steer, IN, Grapevine, Ray, Red FM 93.5, Virtual Voyage, Sahara Samay, Somdeep Palace, VH1, MTV Nescafe, Anil Publicity and Amitabh Singh Chauhan films for their kind support.

The Fest was one of the best Fests organised in the city, thereby bypassing other competitive Fests in the city. We had a decent participation from all over the nation considering the fact that this was the first Fest of the University that has been established 9 months ago. The Fest was successful in generating the brand value of the University in a very short span of time.
