The Institute
In 2005, as the trust identified the need of excellent IT professional education in the current scenario, it came up with a new project, with the establishment of "DEPARTMENT of MCA" with the brand name of SVITS.
With the inception of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya established under Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam in 2015 at Indore MP(India), the department of MCA became a fully functional institute associated with the university and was named as Shri Vaishnav Institute of Computer Applications.
The institute is offering two dual degree programs viz. BCA+MCA and BCA +MCA in Banking Technology. Other than these programs, the institute is also offering postgraduate degree programs like M. Sc (CS), MCA and MCA (Banking Technology) and undergraduate degree program in BCA (Big Data Analytics) in association with IBM. To fulfil the increasing demand of Data Science experts in the IT industry, the institute is going to offer B. Sc. in Data Science from 2023 onwards.
The programs are today, regarded as the programs with a WIDER COVERAGE which expands the horizons of a student making them the most intellectually stimulating programs. In the light of globalization, the programs aim to create a new generation of entrepreneurial IT Professionals who can face with confidence emerging challenges of international markets.
The curriculum of programs has been designed keeping in view the requirements and the latest trends in the industry. It prepares the students to take on the challenges of growing IT industry and to become the front runner of the industry with their technical skills.
