Welcome to Shri Vaishnav Institute of Forensic Science (SVIFS)
Shri Vaishnav Institute of Forensic Science (SVIFS) was established as a premiere institute in 2016 with a scientific approach through a team of highly qualified academicians to promote excellence in forensic science. The Institute aims to provide practical knowledge and theoretical aspects in this field. Hence frequent visits to police stations and Forensic Science Laboratories are planned as a part of the curriculum. The institute organizes various activities such as model making, posters, moot court and trial competitions, Forensic exhibitions, Guest Lectures, conferences, etc., to inculcate the overall development of the student in this field. The Institute has an approach to evolve strong research programs in plenty of areas where practical knowledge of forensic science shall accelerate various practices in the civil and criminal justice systems.
Shri Vaishnav Institute of Forensic Science offers comprehensive programs designed to equip students with critical skills for diverse fields. From BSc Forensic Science and BSc Digital and Cyber Forensics to BSc Psychology and BA/BSc Criminology, each program emphasizes the importance of understanding human behavior, forensic techniques, and crime prevention strategies. The institute also provides advanced studies such as MSc Forensic Science, MSc Cyber Forensics, MA/MSc Criminology, and MSc Psychology, preparing graduates for leadership roles in forensic analysis, cybercrime investigation, criminological research, and psychological assessment. These programs blend theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring students develop the necessary expertise to effectively address contemporary challenges in their respective disciplines.

Shri Vaishnav Institute of Forensic Science aims to provide education of International Standards in the area of Forensic Science. The learning process would lead to the inventions and then to discover. In addition to developing excellent skills in the subject, institute aims to provide a Centre for academic excellence and modern-day practical training in the area of forensic and its subsidiary sciences to foster human development through quality education and research.
The students are motivated not only to dream big but also are encouraged to think unconventionally in order to face challenges of society and to stand bold against it in future.
It is also mission of the institute to provide world class forensic science curriculum suiting the students, crime detection agencies, corporate offices and banks, etc. to counter techno-crimes and create a safe society to live in.
The academic programs are so designed as to implement and to provide solid foundation skills to understand the subject and to build a good professional carrier under the umbrella of SVIFS to play crucial role in the forensic investigation.

Aptitude is developed for self-study and the use of e-resources and data banks to foster lifelong learning. Faculties at SVIFS nurture the individual interests and abilities of their students. They also make all attempts to ensure the overall development of students. Study tours, FSLs visits, Industrial visits, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc are organized which help in developing Forensic Professionals.
