A three day orientation programme ‘Abhinandan 2017’ for the new batches of Shri Vaishanav Vidayapeeth Vishwavidyalaya was organized from 24th-26th July, 2017 at the university campus. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Akhilesh Pandey, Chairman, Madhya Pradesh private regulatory commission. The Vice Chancellor of university Dr. Upinder Dhar addressed the gathering by explaining them the concept of 9P’s which are planning, perspire, persistence, proactive, No procrastination, progressive, perfection, participation, process. Our University Chancellor Shri Purshottam DasJi Pasari narrated the importance of setting goals in life. Students need to participate in the development of nation through hard work and determination. On this auspicious occasion Shri Kamal Narayanji Bhuradiya asked the students to give their cent percent on studies and Development. Programme Coordinator Dr. Kavita Sharma delivered the words of thanks. The programme was followed by Lunch.
In the second session of the day Prof Rupali Bhartiya presented seminar on ‘Introduction to computing facilities. Mr Subhash khode, Chief Librarian of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya explained the importance of books and learning resource center to the students.
On the second day of the programme Dr Kavita Sharma explained new batch about activities of the University and introduced various clubs of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya. Dr Shishir jain, Controller of Examinations gave information about the various scheme of examinations. Dr S. Thakur, Professor Physics and Coordinator Transportation briefed them about Hostel and Bus facility.
Motivational speech on Self Management and Time Management was given by motivational speaker Dr. Sachin Parab, MBBS from Mumbai University, Senior Faculty of medical wing of Rajayoga Education & Research Foundation, Corporate trainer, who is also Recipient of “Adarsha Doctor Puraskar”. He gave management tips to students. Narrating an incident about prisoners in jail he said that the prisoners told him on meeting that we are nice people and only for a moment we lost control. He further continued by saying that convert your dreams into goals and resist temptation and work hard to succeed. Dr. Jigyasu Dubey, HoD of IT Department of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya spoke about the use of social media.
Third day was the day full of activities. At first Shri Mahendra Singh Pawar, Director Corporate Relations and Placement briefed the students about the journey at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya. He guided the students for achieving academic excellence and also if they worked on their communication skill and aptitude then they can go very far on the road to success. In the next session former student of the university Mr. Vaibhav Khandelwal, MD, Khandelwal Caps & Closures Pvt. Ltd. & Mr. Harsh Nagori, CEO of Oswal Computers & Chairman, JITO Youth Organization, Indore shared their experiences. A number of motivational short films were shown in the event. The three day programme was summarized by Dr. Kavita Sharma. Later on students went to their respective Institute and participated in the activities organized by the Institute.
